Aston® Facial Fitness includes techniques from all three forms of Aston® Massage (spiraling massage, myo-kinetics, and arthro-kinetics), as well as lymphatic drainage, isometric exercise, and basic postural balance exercises. Facial toning focuses on the position, resiliency, mobility and tone of the structures from the neck up. This technique can relax the eye muscles, ameliorate TMJ, improve sinus congestion, and neutralize some of the negative effects of aging and emotional expression.
Aston Facial Fitness can be especially useful for those who suffer from tension headaches, allergies, and problems with the TMJ. It also has very useful implications for vocalists, wind and string players.
Private sessions focusing on Facial Fitness offer instructions for self-care, which incorporate variations on the techniques clients receive in their session. The self-care regimen can also be taught within a workshop setting, making for a very fun class!
